6:00 P.M. SEMINAR: What Whiskey Means to Missouri
Gary Hinegardner, Owner/Head Distiller of Wood Hat Spirits and President of MO Craft Distillers Guild, will share his insights into what craft distilling means to the state and to whiskey lovers. The Craft Distillers Guild represents 34 distillers in MO producing a wide variety of spirits. Mr Hinegardner is an entertaining speaker and provides a unique perspective as one of the first wave of micro distillers in this state.
7:00 P.M. SEMINAR: Aging of Whiskey 101
Lee Griffith, Director of Sales of Boot Hill Distillery, will take the attendee through the history and process of aging from new make whiskey to longer aged whiskey using spirits from within the same distillery.
