Cold weather doesn’t mean you need to put your hiking boots away! Join us for a hike in the beautiful Ozark Trail. Today we will explore a section that won’t disappoint you -from Klepzing Mill to Rocky Falls. We will then head to Piney River Brewing Company, where we will enjoy a beer at a barn!
Cold weather doesn’t mean you need to put your hiking boots away! We will explore the breathtaking Ozark Trail through the Klepzig Mill to Rocky Falls section. This is a 6 mile hike, out and back, with 459' elevation gain. The hike will begin at Klepzig Mill, a historic mill located in the beautiful Rocky Creek shut-ins. We will then continue though Buzzard Mountain shut-ins before ending at Rocky Falls, which is one of the most remarkable cascades in Missouri. You will not be disappointed by its beauty! Throughout the hike, we will take several breaks to immerse ourselves in the stunning Ozark, old historic buildings, watering holes, and dynamic terrain. On the drive back, we will stop at Piney River Brewing Company for some great locally made beer. .
