The Downtown Springfield Association and the Film & Media Association of Springfield are proud to sponsor the first screening block of the Rated SGF Film Festival. This screening includes six short films: Crude Oil, Tall Tale, Dust, Loom, Zero Sum and The Last Seance.

Come and enjoy six incredible short films as a kickoff to the Rated SGF Film Festival! Come early to claim your seat and enjoy live music (inspired by the films!) from Jin J X.

Seating, live music, a free popcorn bar and a cash bar will begin at 6:00 pm. The screening, sponsored by 417 Magazine, will begin at 7:00 pm. Each group of three shorts is followed by a Q&A with special guests from the films. That's six shorts and two Q&As included in one ticket!

Note: Due to imagery and themes, some shorts in this block may be inappropriate for children under the age of 13.

Rated SGF Film Festival is managed by Downtown Springfield Association (DSA) in partnership with the Film & Media Association of Springfield (FMAS).

The first Q&A is sponsored by the Missouri State University College of Arts and Letters. The second Q&A is sponsored by Headline Productions.
